Chemical Safety Training Materials

CEPN’s chemical safety training modules for workers and managers were developed with funding from the Initiative for Global Solidarity, a program of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH and in partnership with Labor Solutions. 

The training materials are available in three formats:

1. In-Person Training
2. Live Webinar Training
3. Interactive Digital Training (E-Learning) 

The Worker training materials consist of five training modules, which include slide decks, trainer guides, quizzes, handouts, and certificates.

• Module 1: Introduction to Chemical Safety in the Workplace​
• Module 2: Chemical Hazards and Exposures
• Module 3: Control Approaches and Emergency Responses​
• Module 4: Hazard Communication​
• Module 5: Your Participation in Chemical Safety​

The Manager Training materials consist of three training modules, which include slide decks, quizzes, and certificates, as well as a facility-specific chemical safety training development toolkit.

• Module 2: Your Responsibilities in Chemical Safety Management​
• Module 3: Strengthen Worker Engagement in Chemical Safety Management
• Facility-Specific Chemical Safety Training Development Toolkit
