CEPN recently hosted a "Train the Trainer" session on the Network's new Chemical Safety Training modules in Hanoi, Vietnam. The training marks the latest development in the Chemical Safety Training Program funded through a grant from the Initiative for Global Solidarity, a program of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH. 

Local trainers began 3 months of beta testing of the training in early November at supplier facilities in Vietnam and Malaysia. Beta testing is being conducted in multiple modalities of the training; in-person and webinar-based training is occurring in Vietnam and digital interactive training is occurring in both Vietnam and Malaysia. 

Following the conclusion of this beta testing phase, the training will become available for use by CEPN members as well as the entire electronics industry with training resources to be posted on the CEPN website.
